Celebrating 125 Years of Ministry
This year, Trent United Methodist Church joyfully celebrates its 125th anniversary, marking over a century of faith and service in the Trent, Texas community. Established in 1900, our church has been a steadfast beacon of hope, guiding generations through worship, fellowship, and outreach. In a defining moment of our history, our original church building tragically burned down, but in the ashes, our church Bible remained untouched by the flames. We keep this on display in our gathering area as a powerful reminder that God's Word endures even in the face of adversity.
In 2008, we broke ground on our church building, a testament to our enduring commitment to growth and community service. As we honor this significant milestone, we reflect on our rich history and look forward to continuing our mission of sharing God's love in Trent and beyond.
